Hello South Africa!

While I was living in South Africa last year I used a blog to stay close to friends and family at home. Now I am home, and would like to keep close to me the friends I made in SA. We'll see if this works...

Keep in touch friends - I miss you :)

I've been home six weeks now, and have spent most of my time playing. I am commited to employment, really, it's just that I'm also committed to playing. A balance will have to be sought.

I will try using this blog to keep in touch, and I hope you will too. You can always send me emails, of course, but if you find it more convenient to add "comments" to the blog posts, you can do that too (either way, your messages will end up in my gmail inbox).

Also, I haven't stopped clicking away with my camera since leaving South Africa, and in the near future I hope to have a nice way of sharing some photos with you: My unabashed attempt to woo you for a visit to Canada! (specifically, British Columbia, Canada).

Oh, and speaking of talking...Camilla and I have used Skype a couple times for chats. I'm telling you, it's a miracle: free calls! So anytime you are craving my dulcet monotone, think about signing up with Skype and giving me a call.
